In an industry first, these forged pistons feature skirt diameters that correspond to the individual spec OEM Grade 1, 2 or 3 bores. Be sure to check the bore grades on the back of your block and order the appropriate quantities of Grade 1, 2 or 3 pistons. Pistons are sized individually, but are always sold as a set of 6x.
Manley pistons are machined out of High Strength 2618 material. The design is lightweight, yet robust enough to deliver long service life. Offset wrist pin design is utilized for quiet start-ups. Perfect ring groove-to-skirt squareness is achieved through Manley's unique "one fixturing" manufacturing method that assures maximum horsepower. All GT-R pistons come with moly coated skirts, round wire locks, premium chrome moly wrist pins, and premium steel top ring with napier second sets from Total Seal are included with every kit at no additional charge. 9310 alloy upgraded wrist pins are available.
These are the '98.4MM STROKER' pistons.
Please note: Before ordering, it is crucial that you check for the correct grade/size piston suitable for the V38DETT in your GT-R. You will need to either visually inspect your block yourself, or alternatively, if you are building a GT-R through us, we will check to ensure that we get the correct size. The location of the 'code' can be found on the passenger side upper-portion of the block (near the firewall) as their is a visible flat spot that has six numbers engraved in sequence. You are required to write down this sequence to order pistons of the correct grade.
