Built for big power
The standard VR38 is strong, but big power needs a built engine. We strip the block, machine it and build it back up with forged pistons, ready for the turbos, fuelling and mapping your power goal needs. We do the cylinder head work too, so the whole engine is built as one.
A built engine is the base for our biggest GT-R packages, from Stage 5 builds to 2,000 bhp and beyond. Every build is planned around how you use the car, whether that’s fast road, track or drag. See our GT-R tuning stages too.

Do I need a built engine for my R35 GT-R?
Not for the first tuning stages, which run on the standard engine. For bigger power, a built VR38 with forged internals gives the strength to make that power reliably. We will advise you based on your goals.
How much power can a built R35 GT-R make?
Our big-power builds go to 2,000 bhp and beyond. We plan each build around the power you want and how you will use the car.
Can you collect my GT-R?
Yes. We collect and return cars anywhere in the UK in our enclosed trailer, fully insured, for £1.50 a mile.
